Acrylic acid modified alkyd fluorescent paint manufacturing
method
[Preparation method]
(1) Synthesis of acrylic prepolymer. In a reaction kettle in which the air is
replaced by nitrogen, human xylene, methyl methacrylate and butyl acrylate are
added, heated to about 85℃, and human initiator dimethyl ketene ethyl
trimethylsilyl acetal and catalyst tetrabutyl ammonium xylene acetate are
injected. With the start of the heating reaction, when the temperature drops to
the starting temperature, methacrylic acid and styrene are added, and the second
heating is started until the polymerization is completed. Keep the temperature
for 1h, and discharge after reaching the preset index.
(2) Synthesis of acrylic acid modified alkyd resin. Adding linseed oil and
pentaerythritol into a reaction kettle, heating to 180 DEG C, and accelerating.
The chemical calcium hydroxide is stirred, and the temperature is raised to
about 245℃, and the temperature is kept for alcoholysis. Cooling to about 180℃,
adding acrylic prepolymer, and heating to esterify until the acid value is 14 ~
18 mg KOH/g. Cooling, adding artificial phthalic anhydride, and esterifying
until the acid value is 14-18 mg KOH/g, and the viscosity is high.
The temperature is 40~180s, and the material is discharged after cooling.
(3) Preparation of fluorescent pigment emulsion. Adding 37% formaldehyde
solution and water into a reactor, raising the temperature to about 80℃,
adjusting the pH value to 7.5~8.0, adding p-toluenesulfonamide, stirring, and
reacting at 85℃ for 30min; Then add melamine and keep the temperature for 10 ~
15min, adding a proper amount of fluorescent dye, continuing to react for 10
~15min, and cooling to obtain fluorescent pigment emulsion.
(4) Preparation of acrylic acid modified alkyd fluorescent coating. Dilute
acrylic acid modified alkyd resin with xylene solution until the viscosity is
about 40s, add fluorescent pigment emulsion while stirring, keep the temperature
at 40~50℃ for 5min, then add human additives and fillers, fully stir, add human
dispersant and thickener, and sand grind to get the finished product.
[Characteristics] The fluorescent paint made by directly dispersing fluorescent
pigment emulsion in acrylic modified alkyd resin has the advantages of strong
fluorescence, good light retention, color retention and weather resistance,
excellent coating performance, etc., and there is no need to prepare solid
pigment, which greatly simplifies the technological process. See Table 5-24 for
coating performance.
